On August 20th, Partners united a team of walkers who enthusiastically participated in the CHOC Walk In The Park, presented by Disneyland® Resort. Amidst the rain, the team joined the festivities walking down Main St. U.SA alongside Mickey & Minne, showcasing solidarity for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).
CHOC stands as a nonprofit health system dedicated to providing innovative, empathetic, and tailored care to infants, children, adolescents, teens, and young adults within the local Southern California community. The CHOC Walk, driven by community philanthropy, serves as a vital force in advancing CHOC's mission to foster, elevate, and safeguard the health and well-being of children.
Despite the weather, the event was a brilliant success raising $2.1 million this year. All walkers enjoyed the Disney magic while getting cheered on by cast members and their favorite characters! The funds amassed from the event contribute to various essential causes and have immediate and lasting impact on the mission to revolutionize pediatric healthcare, benefiting both current and future generations.
Annually, CHOC allocates $143 million in total community benefit, bolstering crucial services such as enhanced access to pediatric healthcare resources and behavioral health services. CHOC's profound reach encompasses over two million children spanning four counties each year, an accomplishment further propelled by the generosity of the CHOC Walk community.
Partners Federal Credit Union stands tall, both as a proud bronze sponsor and a supporter, in the mission to uplift and empower the lives of young ones in need. Fundraising continues until September 20th, to donate visit CHOC.org/donate.
