OnCon Icon Award Winner
We are excited to share that Partners Federal Credit Union is a proud recipient of the “Top 50 Learning & Development Team Award” at the 2023 OnCon Icon Awards! Recipients were announced at the OnCon Icon virtual awards ceremony on October 24th.
2023 is the inaugural year for awards in the team category. Partners was the only credit union recognized in the Top 50 L&D team award category.
This Icon Top 50 Award for Partners includes global recognition for the L&D team and recognizes our professional development programs as best-in-class. An opportunity to learn, grow, and develop is an indicator of a great place to work – and we are now recognized by industry peers as a leading organization.

Our Partners Learning and Development team focuses on the professional growth and skill development of our Cast Members through training, evaluating, and creating learning opportunities that help our Cast Members make the most of their magic every day.
The team’s nomination included the work done with defining and developing our competencies, our Learning and Development Strategy, the roles within L&D and the objectives of those roles, and critically, how we structure and balance the credit union’s workload.
As the board members of OnCon began to narrow the 1000 submissions, they asked the Partners team about specific scenarios regarding how they would handle issues such as organizational development challenges.
Once the OnCon board determined the nominations that would move forward for voting they were opened to public domain and Learning & Development experts and professionals. Other companies in the running included Indeed, IMA Financial Group, Pentagon Federal Credit Union, First Tech Federal Credit Union, Allstate Corporation, American Express, Wells Fargo, Microsoft, DoorDash, Walmart, Mechanics Bank, and The Walt Disney Company.
